“Did you check for evidence at the crime scene?”

“Umm, no. Actually I forgot. Sorry.” The new recruit wrung his hands nervously, his eyes darting between his boss’ glare and Headline News blasting on the TV.

“That’s what I thought. You’re fired.” He turned to his secretary. “Lucy, where are my Tums? And aspirin? And turn down that TV!”
